Vivid releases his duo cover EP, featuring ‘Cherry Wine’ by Hozier, and ‘Open Door’ by You+Me.
“In my younger years I got really attached to Dallas’ music. His entire discography is incredible but I chose “Open Door” because the melody and chemistry between his and Pink’s vocal parts. The lyrics also really spoke to the way I was feeling at the time. Being a musician you sacrifice a lot of things. A big one is being able to spend time with people that you care for. I feel like this song embodied those feelings of wanting to keep the door open even though sometimes the time can’t be spent together” says Josh.

Vivid’s inspiration from the floating guitar parts and powerful lyrics are what drew him to cover ‘Cherry Wine’. With the beautiful composition by You + Me, Josh wanted to see how he could arrange it and make it his own.
