“I took things back to the start for this one. I had been writing so much music for myself, for others, for sync – I found myself getting lazy. I had to strip away the glitter and step away from the computer – go back to the roots of what writing a song was for me – not allowing myself to touch production until the song was already there. There was no room for compensation that way. I took my time. It became meditative. This song helped me find joy again. I just want it to do the same for others” says Kevin.
